We are the Lincolnshire based company ilovevdub situated in central England twenty minutes off the A1; an ideal starting location for exploring the UK on an adventure. The success of ilovevdubweddings led us to create this sister website ilovevdubadventures. Olive, our beautiful 1970 VW Early Bay Campervan provides all of the essentials for a ‘chance of a lifetime’ authentic VW experience on a weekend getaway or a week of living the dream of a VW Campervan owner on your very own ilovevdubadventure. It doesn’t matter if you want an action packed adventure or to take it easy and relax while you watch the world go by, we know the flexibility of a vdub adventure will achieve this for you; with no schedule you can do what you want when you want to. A vdub adventure provides you with the chance to escape day to day life, to explore and create your own bespoke adventure that you’ll be talking about for years to come!
Holidaying with Olive suits the lone adventurer, those taking a friend and small families.
By day she seats 5 passengers, with her fitted seatbelts making even the littlest of passengers feel welcome in their car seats. By night she sleeps 2 adults comfortably in her rock and roll bed (with a little room for 1 small child if you’re happy to share) and her spacious drive away awning accommodates a further 6 people.
Her rock and roll bed provides a comfortable place to sit for passengers when travelling by day and converts to a double bed at night.
Curtains on all windows offer security, privacy and the perfect conditions for a great night’s sleep.
The pop top roof allows extra headroom for standing up.
The drive away awning increases sleeping capacity, space for cooking and allows items to be left at the campsite while you go off and explore.
Olive also has a 240V electric hook-up facility for use at campsites.
So, if you feel like it is time for an unforgettable experience and you are between 25 and 75 years old, are fully insured on your own vehicle, have held a driving licence for at least two years and have 3 points or less on your licence then there’s nothing stopping you; your adventure starts here!

What’s Next
It’s easy to start your adventure, just follow these simple steps!
Check you meet the requirements for being insured to drive Olive (if you’re not sure just ask!)
Check your dates are available on our online diary.
We’ll send out a booking form to validate your booking
Fill it in and post it back to us with the signed terms and conditions.
Pay a non refundable deposit of £150 (by card, cheque, balance transfer or with PayPal).
Pay the remaining balance one month before your adventure.
Pay the security deposit (refunded on your return) one week before you go.
Turn up with your driving licence, passport, and utility bill for the driver.
Go on your adventure.
For you to take Olive, a £500 security deposit will be required a week prior to the hire period which we will hold for the duration of hire (this is a requirement set by the insurance company and is non-negotiable). This can be paid by credit/debit card (sorry, but we cannot accept cash for the security deposit). As long as there are no incidents on your adventure this will be fully refunded to you on the day you safely return Olive, the awning and all contents included, clean and undamaged.
